Yesterday, The prestigious Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2017 was held. The event was attended by the who's who of Bollywood like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Rao, Konkona Sen Sharma among others.

Karan Johar also was awarded the Leadership in Cinema Award at this prestigious festival. Also, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was given with the Westpac IFFM Excellence in Global Cinema award.
Sushant after winning the Best Actor Award said, "Thank you so so much. I'm so honored. Last time I was in Melbourne it was in 2006 was the Commonwealth Games where I was a backup dancer for the so so beautiful Bollywood stars and this time I'm here to receive the Best Actor Award."
