New Delhi: The government had recently found a solution to the problem of two decades-old Bru tribes of Northeast India. At the same time, now Swaraj Kaushal, husband of Sushma Swaraj and former Governor of Mizoram has given her response. The former Governor of Mizoram, Swaraj Kaushal, said on Sunday, 19 January 2020, that New Delhi had heard and solved the problem of about 34,000 Bru tribes.

At the same time, tell that the government says that more than 30 thousand Bru tribes who have fled from Mizoram and are living in the refugee camps of Tripura will no longer be forced to return. After the agreement between the representatives of the Center, Tripura, Mizoram and Bru tribes, they will now be settled in Tripura. For this, Home Minister Amit Shah has announced a package of Rs 600 crore.

Kaushal further said, 'Our population is 130 crores. The population of this (Bru) tribe is 2 lakhs. Here, we have the Government of India and the Home Minister of India, who are trying to find a solution to a human problem of 2 lakh people, of which 34,000 people are in the worst system. ' At the same time, it is being said that after signing the agreement, Amit Shah said that Bru tribes will be given land for house in Tripura. With this, a fixed deposit of four lakh rupees will be made in the account of each family of more than five thousand families, which they will be able to withdraw after two years. Similarly, they will also be given financial assistance of Rs 5000 every month for two years. Apart from this, they will also be provided free ration for eating for two years per person. After getting the ownership of the land given by the Tripura government, they will be given one and a half lakh rupees to build the house. Please tell that Kaushal is going to serve as the Governor of Mizoram between 1990 and 1993.
