Taraka Ratna’s wife falls ill after his death, PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to the actor

One of the renowned actors of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna in the Telugu Industry passes away at 39. He belongs to famous clans of the industry. He was hospitalized in Bengaluru after he suffered a massive cardiac arrest on January 27.

Taraka Ratna is the son of Mohanakrishna and grandson of former chief minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh N T Rama Rao. His funeral will take place on February 20. Ads per some reports Taraka Ratna's wife Alekhya Reddy is in shock and disturbed following the death of her husband. After the premature death of the Taraka his wife fell ill and is currently in a lethargic state as she has not eaten anything in the last two days while taking care of their two daughters and a son.

Alekhya Reddy is a fashion designer. She is said to be a close relative of Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy.  The duo fell in love during the shooting of Daya. Alekhya was the costume designer on the sets.  He tied the knot with Alekhya in 2012 at a temple in Hyderabad. They married against the decision of Tarak Ratna's parents and nobody from the Nandamuri family attended this wedding.  However their parents accepted the relationship after some days . 

PM Narendra Modi also pays tribute to the actor. He wrote. "Pained by the untimely demise of Shri Nandamuri Tarak Ratna Garu. He made a mark for himself in the world of films and entertainment. My thoughts are with his family and admirers in this sad hour. Om Shanti: PM.”

Tarakaratna made his debut with the film ‘Okato number Kurradu’ in 2002. Some of his other notable films include ‘Taarak’, ‘Bhadradri Ramudu’, ‘Nadeeshwarudu’, ‘Eduru Leni Alexander’ and ‘Yuva Ratna’. He was also a recipient of the Nandi award for his role in the film ‘Amaravathi’. He also recently acted in a web series titled '9 hour’. The NTR family launched Taraka Ratna into films with a lot of fanfare with as many as nine films launched on a single day.
