Taylor Reveals Re-Recording Of 1st 6 Albums After Scooter Sells Her Master Tapes

American singer Taylor Swift is here with some big news for her fans as she has confirmed already re-recording of songs of her first six albums.  She made this announcement on November 16th after the masters were sold to nemesis Scooter Braun without her knowledge in June 2019.

She writes a message to her fans saying that, “I have recently begun re-recording my older music and it has already proven to be both exciting and creatively fulfilling.” The 30-year-old reveals that she has “plenty of surprises in store” and “I can’t wait for you to hear what I’ve been dreaming up.” It came as almost a footnote at the end of a long message to her fans about how Scooter just sold her music catalog without giving Taylor the chance to purchase her own work. Taylor explains to fans that her team had been in contact with Scooter to acquire her Masters in June 2019. Taylor recorded her first six albums there, up through 2017’s Reputation. Taylor explains to Shamrock’s leaders that she would be going forward with re-recording her albums that Scooter had owned. Scooter Braun bought the masters to her first six albums and has now sold them without giving Swift a chance to purchase them back.

She also claims to blame Big Machine owner Scott Borchetta, who made the sale to Taylor’s enemy. “When I left my masters in Scott’s hands, I made peace with the fact that eventually, he would sell them…... That means forever,” Taylor added.
