Mission T20 World Cup begins, Team India leaves for Australia

New Delhi: Team India's Mission World Cup is starting from today (October 6). The Indian team has left for Australia, where this time the T20 World Cup 2022 will be played. Let us tell you that Team India has flown directly to Perth. Rohit Brigade has been placed in Group-2 of Super-12 in World Cup 2022. Along with Team India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh are also included in this group. Two teams will join the group after the qualifying round.

Let us tell you that recently Team India defeated South Africa 2-1 in the three-match T20 series played at their own home. The third match was played in Indore, in which Team India had to face defeat. After the match, captain Rohit Sharma gave information about the World Cup. He had said that 'Some people of the team have not gone to Australia. That's why we want to go there early. If you play some matches on the bouncy pitches of Perth, then you will know the situation. Of the players included in the team, only 7-8 have reached Australia earlier. Team India's first match in the World Cup will be against Pakistan in Melbourne on 23 October, just a day before Diwali. Team India will reach Perth first. The camp will be held here till the 13th. During this two warm-up matches will also be played.

Both these warm-up matches have been arranged by the BCCI itself, which will be played against Western Australia. Both these matches are going to be held on October 10 and 12. After this, Team India also has to play two ICC warm-up matches in Brisbane. Both these ICC warm-up matches will be against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19.
