WTC Final: Team India on the ground for practice, see Video

London : Preparations for the World Test Championship (WTC) final between Team India and New Zealand are at their peak. While The New Zealand team has entered the field to play the second Test against England, the Indian team has now started its practice after arriving in England. The Indian cricket team was still completing its quarantine time, only a few players were practicing individually, but now the entire team has started practice together.

Let's say this match is going to be very special for both India and New Zealand. Both the teams will make every effort to win the trophy, which is said to be the World Cup of Tests. Team India participated in its first group training at the Hampshire Bowl ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand in Southampton from June 18. BCCI shared a video of the practice on social media on Thursday.

The video shows captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant and other batsmen practising batting at the nets, while Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah Mohammad Siraj are bowling to him. More than a minute long, the video also shows players practicing catches at slip.
