Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief leader Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday met the families of those killed in the Madhubani 'massacre.' Tejashwi shared their grief and also provided financial assistance to them by paying an amount of Rs 6 lakh. After meeting the victim's family, he said that the incident is completely power protected and sponsored. Why has not a single accused named in the incident been arrested so far? Attacking the state government, Tejashwi said that a week after the heinous 'massacre,' the police administration and the government are still asleep. Instead of arresting the culprits, the police are transporting them to a safe place. Tejashwi has said that it is unfortunate for the state that even after such a tragic incident, CM Nitish Kumar is not aware of the incident. He expressed no condolences and regret over this terrible massacre. Tejashwi further said, "If there is no involvement of any MLA, minister, and any army in this massacre under the protection of power, why does the CM not constitute an SIT led by a higher official? CM Nitish Kumar should constitute the SIT without delay."
