Woman dies due to water logging in Telangana

Hyderabad: In many parts of the country, people are suffering from the coronavirus epidemic as well as the havoc of torrential rains and floods. In Assam and Bihar, many people have been badly affected due to the spill in the low lying areas due to rains. A woman has died in Telangana due to the rapid flow of rain water.

Due to the incessant rains in Telangana, the Musi river in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district is full and its water has reached hundreds. Due to which the transport system has suffered badly. Flood-like situation has arisen in Nalgonda district, Devarkonda constituency, Chintapalli mandal and Kistharampally village due to incessant rains in the state for two days.

On giving information in the latest case, the police have told that in Nalgonda district of Telangana, a woman riding in an auto died after being caught in the strong current of water due to heavy rains. According to the police, the deceased woman has been identified as Ramulamma. In an ANI conversation with Deverakonda Superintendent of Police (DSP) T Anand Reddy, he said, "an auto got stuck in a strong current of water. A woman traveling in that auto died on the spot."
