Telangana CM KCR hosted flag on foundation day of the state

Hyderabad: Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao hoisted the national flag at his office on the state's foundation day on Wednesday. Earlier, he paid floral tributes to the martyrs of the separate state movement at Gun Park. The celebrations were celebrated in the state this year with simplicity due to Covid-19. Citing the transition, the state government has imposed a number of restrictions.

State that Telangana was established on June 2, 2014. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and PM Narendra Modi have also greeted the people of the state on the occasion. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has also taken to Twitter to wish the people. Soundararajan tweeted, "Heartiest greetings on the foundation day of telangana state. Tributes to those who laid down their lives for Telangana.' He said, ''Best wishes to the state of Telangana for its great success on the path of progress and prosperity. Jai Telangana".

On the eve of Telangana Foundation Day, CM KCR greeted the people and said that the state has got succes in all sectors in a short span of seven years, laid a strong foundation and established stability. Cm said, ''Telangana state is meeting the demands of the the people, irrigationand drinking water, electricity, medical and health, roads and all other basic amenities are being provided, which meet short-term and long-term goals".
