Hyderabad: Petrol and diesel prices are skyrocketing in the country. Petrol price has crossed the 100 marks in most states of the country. Amidst rising oil prices, a case of "theft" of petrol has come to light in Hyderabad, Telangana' capital, where two youths fled without paying petrol. Police have also launched a search for the duo. In Hyderabad, one litre of petrol is being sold for more than Rs 105 and in Adilabad, the price has reached Rs 108. Meanwhile, a case of theft of petrol has come to light here. On Saturday, two youths poured petrol into their bikes and then fled without paying. The case took place in the Mehdipatnam area where two bikers wearing masks came and fled without paying Rs 200 after pouring petrol. Soon the 'petrol loot' was reported to the police, after which a police patrolling train immediately arrived and chased the youths, but the two youths managed to escape. Police are now on the lookout for the two youths. Petrol-diesel prices have remained unchanged in the domestic market for the past 16 days even after the price of crude oil was at a high in the global market. Oil companies have not changed the prices of petrol and diesel. According to Indian Oil (IOC) in the Delhi market on Monday, petrol is stable at Rs 101.84 per litre and diesel at Rs 89.87 per litre.
