Texas Republicans reject results of 2020 US presidential Poll

HOUSTON: According to an official announcement, over 5,000 delegates at the 2022 Texas Republican Convention decisively passed a resolution rejecting the results of the 2020 US presidential election.

"We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020," according to a statement posted late Monday night on the Republican Party of Texas' website citing the resolution.

"We suspect that serious election fraud in key urban areas influenced the results in five crucial states in Joseph Robinette Biden Jr's favour." "We reject the certified presidential election results for 2020, and we believe that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not duly elected by the American people."

"We strongly urge all Republicans to work to assure election integrity by voting in November 2022, bringing your friends and family with you, volunteering for your local Republicans, and overwhelming any potential fraud." Members of the Republican Party of Texas, according to Matt Rinaldi, Chairman, "rightly have little faith in the 2020 election outcomes, and we don't care how many people vote."

"The Texas Republican Party is raising unprecedented amounts of money for election integrity, and we've made it a top priority to ensure that Texas does not follow in the footsteps of Pennsylvania, Georgia, or Arizona.
