After 11 days of the Pulwama terror attack, The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Tuesday conducted air strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) targetting several terror camps. As per reports, a group of Indian fighter jets Mirage 2000 struck and completely destroyed a major terror camp across LoC and atleast 300 terrorits have been killed. As fans took to social media to laud the Indian army, Indian cricketers Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag also hailed the Indian forces for avenging the Pulwama terror attack. It is difficult to convince ICC to ban Pakistan from the World Cup: Sourav Ganguly Gambhir and Sehwag were the first ones from the cricket fraternity to react on the strikes conducted by the Indian Air Force. "JAI HIND, IAF," tweeted Gambhir. Indian former opener Virendra Sehwag wrote, "The boys have played really well. #SudharJaaoWarnaSudhaarDenge #airstrike," Indian Air Force Mirage 2000 Fighter Jets carried out strikes across the LoC. As per ANI, around 1000-kg bombs were dropped on terrorist camps across LoC. The strikes were carried out at Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chakothi. As many as 12 Mirage 2000 Fighter jets participated in the strikes. A suicide bomber, identified as Adil Ahmed Dar, rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF soldiers. Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad had claimed the responsibility of the attack.
