India lost its first T20I match against Australia by three-wicket in a thrilling match at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Vizag on Sunday. The game went down the wire with the India requiring 14 runs off the final over.

From Australian side, Pat Cummins and Jhye Richardson showed great composure and helped the Aussies take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series by winning the low-scoring encounter.

India who came first to bat  could manage to post only 126 runs on the board after a middle order collapse. After opener Rohit Sharma (5) was sent back cheaply, KL Rahul (50) and skipper Virat Kohli (24) posted a 55-run stand for the second wicket to set the stage for a big total, however, some tight bowling from the Aussies saw India crumble. MS Dhoni, who is known to for scoring huge in death overs had a poor outing with the bat in the game was criticised on Twitter for another sluggish knock.

Former Indian Captain scored an unbeaten 29 runs to help India reach a respectable total at the end. However, it was his strike rate which didn't go down well with the fans, who trolled the Dhoni  on Twitter. His 29 runs came off 37 deliveries with the help of a just a six as he remained unbeaten. He also denied Yuzvendra Chahal the strike in the death overs and took the matters in his own hands but failed to make the expected runs.
