New Delhi: The integrated graphics processing unit of the Galaxy S23 Ultra outperforms the iGPU of the S22 Ultra. The Qualcomm Adreno 740 iGPU on the upcoming flagship will be made by TSMC, unlike the Qualcomm Adreno 730 iGPU on the S22 Ultra, which was made by Samsung. The difference is clear to see. In terms of average score, Adreno 740 has given 57% more encouraging results than Adreno 730. Samsung's choice to equip the S23 Ultra with an iGPU made by TSMC, which is currently making headlines for its incredible benchmark results, seems like a wise one. The Adreno 740 could even outperform the GPU in the Apple A16 Bionic, which would be a remarkable feat considering that Apple's silicon has consistently outperformed Qualcomm and Samsung SoCs in performance tests.
