A team of health officials rushed to investigate the effect of fever in the city of UP

Basti: Fever is continuously rising in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. The number of patients suffering from fever in the district hospital is increasing continuously. A 14-year-old girl died due to high fever in Tursi village of Vikramjot block area and her two brothers are also battling the same disease.

Savitri, daughter of Ram Anuj of the scheduled purveyor of Tursi village, was reportedly grazing goats in the fields. On her return home, she suddenly felt high fever and stiffness in her legs and lay down on the ground. The family immediately took Vikramjot to the Community Health Centre, where doctors declared him dead. Shortly after, Savitri's two brothers Vicky and Sandeep's health at home suddenly deteriorated. those who were admitted to Community Health Centre Vikramjot.

CHC In-charge Dr.  Asif Farooqi led team reached to Tursi village. The district hospital doctor said that on receiving information about Savitri's death, the health team visited the village and conducted an investigation. No outbreak of infectious disease has come to light in the village. The girl died of a stroke from drinking water immediately after coming from the scorching sun. His brothers are being treated. Two children are being admitted to one bed in the Children's Ward at Basti District Hospital.
