The Hunter 650 from Royal Enfield will soon be available in India

New Delhi: The Hunter 650 is about to be released by Royal Enfield in India. The popular Interceptor 650 model is likely to serve as the foundation for the upcoming scrambler motorcycle. Recall that the bike was spotted performing test drives close to the manufacturer in Chennai, though it was heavily camouflaged.

The most widely used brand of motorcycles with a retro aesthetic today is Royal Enfield. The company now intends to increase the variety of products it offers by adding models based on the 350cc (J-series) and 650cc platforms.

While utilising the twin downtube-type tubular steel frame from the Interceptor and Continental GT, the upcoming Hunter 650 is likely to borrow design cues from its younger sibling, the Hunter 350.

The forthcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 650 will adhere to the company's contemporary design ethos. The scrambler will have an upswept exhaust system, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round LED headlamp unit, a wide handlebar with bar-end mirrors, a single-piece ribbed-pattern seat, and a circular LED taillamp unit. The motorcycle will have an instrument cluster that is semi-digital and either wire-spoke or alloy wheels.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 650 will have dual-channel ABS for improved braking and handling, as well as disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels for the rider's safety. Telescopic forks at the front and dual gas-charged shock absorber units at the rear would likely be in charge of the scrambler motorcycle's suspension.

The identical 648cc, air-and-oil-cooled parallel-twin engine from the Interceptor 650 will power the all-new Royal Enfield Hunter 650. The motor's output will probably be 47 hp/52 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox should handle the gearbox responsibilities.

The Hunter 650 is currently in the last stages of development. At its launch event, which is anticipated to take place in late 2023, Royal Enfield will likely reveal the motorcycle's pricing and availability information.
