Madhepura: So far the hands of the police are still empty in the FIR against four persons registered against four persons for assaulting and misbehaving with a woman in Madhepura, Bihar. The victim had allegedly lodged a case against four persons of the village following allegations of attempted rape with her. But Madhepura police have so far failed to arrest the four criminals.
In fact, in a village under Sadar police station area under Madhepura, last Sunday, the miscreants of the village badly assaulted the victim and tore her clothes. Not only this, the miscreants crossed the limits of poverty and also beat the victim with a hot iron rod, which caused injuries at many places on her body. The victim was admitted to Sadar Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
The victim has given a statement to the police that on the night of March 19, she had gone to defecate in the field. It was then that the four criminals of the village, Shankar Das, Pintu Das, Pradeep Das and Amar Das, tried to rape her. In her complaint, the victim has said that after the rape attempt, the perpetrators threatened her and threatened to not tell anyone about the incident. The victim has further stated in her FIR that on March 20 also, the four criminals tried to rape her again and beat her again. When the woman complained about it, the panchayat was called. But due to this, the criminals started assaulting the victim and stripped her naked and burnt her with a hot iron road. On the same issue, Madhepura SP Rajesh Kumar said that the police have received information about the case and action is being taken. Whoever is involved in it or is a criminal will not be able to escape under any circumstances.
