Bhilwara: An incident of acid attack on a woman has come to light in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. The woman suffered serious burn injuries in the incident. She has been admitted to the hospital. The attackers came dressed as saints. After the acid attack, the woman ran for a kilometer to save her life and reached home. The woman's face and part of her body have been badly burnt due to acid.

The incident took place around 10 am on Tuesday. According to Bhilwara police, a 43-year-old woman suffered severe burn injuries in Ghodas village in the Mandal area here. A video of the woman has also surfaced, in which she is narrating the whole incident. The woman's statement has been taken after admitting her to the hospital. The attack took place when she was on her farm. The farm is outside the village, about a kilometer away from her home. When the woman was attacked with acid in the morning, no one was there.

In the video, the woman said that she had gone to the field to release the buffaloes on Tuesday morning. Due to this, a person dressed in black clothes came to her. First, he attacked her with a weapon, causing her to fall down. After that, he threw acid which caused severe burns to her face and part of her body. No one was present around the farm. After the acid attack, the woman reached the village screaming from a deserted road. Devi Lal, who was sitting at the village square, saw the woman and immediately called the family. The woman's husband took her to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. At present, the woman is admitted to the burn ward. The reason for the acid attack has not been revealed yet.
