Lucknow: An innocent boy was kidnapped and murdered in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria. The criminals had demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh till December 10. In this case, the police have detained a young man and are interrogating him. The child's father runs a cart in the city. The incident took place in Sindhi Mill Colony in the Sadar Kotwali area. The seven-year-old son of Eid Mohammad alias Bakridan, Nasir, was studying at Anjuman Islamia on Malviya Road in the city. He left home on December 4. However, when the innocent did not return home till late at night, the family started looking for him. The child was not traced until Monday evening.
On Tuesday morning, kidnappers had pasted a ransom letter of Rs 30 lakh on a hut near Mazar next to Gorakhpur overbridge. It was written in that letter, "Bakridan Bhai, a man in the locality has given Rs 1 lakh to pick up your son. If you want your son, give him 30 lakh rupees by December 10. Keep the money somewhere in the ground of Kasya airport near Naika Chhapra, Madrahan square of Kushinagar, and go back home. I'll send your son to the shop. This is the last notice.''
Seeing this letter, father Bakridan lodged a complaint with the police. The police scanned the CCTV camera installed near the Mazar. After this two youths, who were seen near the Mazar at night, were caught, and during strict interrogation, they confessed to the murder. He said that after the murder, the body was thrown in a pond. At the behest of the accused, the police have recovered the body of the innocent from Pokhara. Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma said that a seven-year-old boy was kidnapped by luring and murdered in the Deoria Kotwali area. The main accused in this case is a relative of the family and has been arrested.
