Gujarat: 38 cases reported so far in the state

Coronavirus has spread its wings in almost every state of the country. The number of corona infects in Gujarat has increased to 38, by identifying 27 thousand people coming from abroad in the state and now trying to control the infection. 20220 people are in the home quarantine while an FIR has been registered against 147 people for refusing to do so.

On this matter, Principal Secretary of Health Department, Dr. Jayanthi Ravi said that the total number of corona infected in Gujarat has reached 38. Maximum coronas have been identified in 14 in Ahmedabad, 7-7 in Surat-Vadodara, 6 in Gandhinagar, 3 in Rajkot and 1 in Kutch. All business establishments, commercial institutions, shops, malls, multiplexes, industries, warehouses have been closed due to the central government's order of lockdown till 14 April, rationing, milk, medicines and banks, internet, mobile, water, Necessary services like electricity, media insurance, post, security, petrol and diesel pumps etc. are kept out of lockdown.

CM Vijay Rupani has appealed to the public for financial support in the Chief Minister Relief Fund to deal with the corona epidemic. The government has constituted a special committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Pankaj Joshi to regularize the supply of essential commodities. 20220 people who have visited Gujarat after visiting Corona transition countries have been home quarantined while 430 government and 38 private Quarantined in facility. According to unconfirmed sources, about 27 thousand people who came to Gujarat from infected countries in the last few months are being identified.
