Corona: CM Thackeray's appeals 'I am listening to my wife, you too should stay at home and listen to the wife'

Mumbai: On the first day of the 21-day lockdown across the country, there is silence on the roads in all the states of the country. Amid lockdown in Maharashtra, the state's Thackeray government has claimed complete availability of every essential item to the common people. Urging people to stay at home, CM Thackeray made a special comment on Wednesday, saying that married people should stay in the house and listen to their wife.

On Wednesday, CM Uddhav shared a special message saying, 'I am in my house and listening to Mrs. CM. You guys also stay at home and listen to your home minister (wife) and do not get upset in any way. Maharashtra has all the things needed for common people. Uddhav said this while addressing the public of Maharashtra on Twitter. A total of 116 cases of Corona have been registered so far in Maharashtra. Today, 9 new cases of corona infection have been reported, including 5 in Sangli district and four in Mumbai.

During his address, Uddhav also wished the people of Maharashtra for the Hindu New Year Gudi Padwa. During the address, CM Uddhav told the people that there is complete availability of goods of common people in Maharashtra and there is no need for people to worry. Uddhav appealed to the common citizens to stay in the house and said that the decision of the lockdown has been taken in view of his health.
