Taxi was robbed by saying 'sister's health is bad'

Ghazipur: The Ghazipur Saidpur Kotwali Police of the country's largest state UP has taken 4 vicious robbers into custody. These criminals used to book the car and rob the car by assaulting the driver. The criminals had robbed an OLA taxi operating from Varanasi Cantt. The police have confiscated a firearm cartridge and phone along with the taxi from near the criminals.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rambadan Singh presented the crimes of loot to journalists. He said that last Saturday, Gyanendra Pandey of Varanasi had informed that his Suzuki Desire car number UP 65 KT 1217 was running in Ola. The arrested criminals had booked the car offline from Varanasi Cantt, saying that his sister's health was deteriorating. Thereafter, he threatened the driver near Saidpur and assaulted him and got out of the vehicle. Thereafter, the criminals fled with the car. Subsequently, the police launched a search and formed a team with the culprits and conducted an investigation, after which the police nabbed the culprits.

SP Ghazipur Rambadan Singh said that there are two vicious criminals in it, who have a long criminal history. While two are being investigated. From their possession, the looted OLA taxi along with the cartridges and the phone has been seized. All of them are being prosecuted and sent to jail.
