Andhra Pradesh: The total number of cases across the state rose to 20,50,324. The Health Department on Thursday reported 1010 fresh cases, and the death toll has risen to 14,175 with 13 new deaths in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, 1149 new patients were cured, taking the total number of recoveries to 20,24,645 and currently there are 11,503 active cases.
As per district-wise data, 218 new cases were reported in Chittoor, followed by East Godavari with 175 cases, Prakasam 129 while Kurnool reported zero cases in the last twenty-four hours. Andhra Pradesh has so far conducted 2.82 COVID-19 tests across the state, which includes 58,054 tests in the last 24 hours. The state has vaccinated four crore people across the state in Andhra Pradesh.
India reported 23,529 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, an increase of 24 per cent from yesterday when less than 20,000 cases were reported in the country. There have also been at least 311 deaths due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases rose to 3,37,39,980, while the death toll reached 4,48,062. With at least 28,718 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of cured people in India rose to 3,30,14,898. The cumulative COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country crossed 88 crore as a total of 59,48,118 vaccine doses were administered in a day. The total vaccination is 88,34,70,578.
