Jammu: BJP is going to celebrate the anniversary of the removal of Articles 370 and 35-A in the state as a celebration. On 5 August, in addition to Mandal, Booth, and Panchayat level, Municipal Corporation and Municipal Committee will also hoist the tricolor in place. The party has urged every person of the state to hoist the tricolor flag in his house on August 5 and perform a Deepamala at night and celebrate it. BJP State General Secretary Dr. Devendra Manayal said that from 5 to 20 August, the BJP will organize a fortnight celebration. Dialogue ceremonies will be held at the district and divisional level. There will also be a digital rally which the senior union minister will address. There will also be virtual rallies at the district level. Dr. Devendra Manayal has requested all the citizens to celebrate by doing Deepmala at their houses, chowk, and main buildings. He further said that he was included in the prominent leaders of the Praja Parishad movement from the state president Ravindra Raina. The book written by Sanjhi Ram Gupta will be distributed among the families who have played an important role in the struggle to eliminate 370. He said that with the withdrawal of 370, BJP will celebrate in association with Valmiki Samaj, Gorkha Samaj, West Pakistani Refugees among the main beneficiaries. In another meeting within the party headquarters itself, General Secretary Organization Ashok Kaul also discussed the strategy of fortnightly programs starting from August 5 with party leaders. From August 5, the tricolor will be hoisted in all the houses of the state.
