Lucknow: A case of rape of an 8-year-old innocent girl has come to light in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Umar Qureshi, 34, who sells meat in the neighborhood of the victim's house, has been accused of rape. According to the report, Umar Qureshi had been raping the minor for the last 6 months by threatening her, due to which the 8-year-old girl became pregnant. After which the accused took the girl to a nursing home and got her forcibly aborted. During this, there was a lot of bleeding from the private parts of the girl. Seeing the pain and blood in the stomach of the girl, the relatives got suspicious, then Umar's heinous act came to the fore. The accused Umar has been arrested after the relatives lodged a complaint with the police. At the same time, the administration is also preparing to take action against the nursing home that got the 8-year-old girl aborted, because it could have kill the girl.
According to the reports, this case is related to Gosaiganj police station area of Lucknow. An 8-year-old girl lives with her family in Amethi town here and studies in class 4. Parents take care of the family by working as laborers. Umar Qureshi has a meat shop in the neighborhood of the victim's house. About 6 months ago, Qureshi called the girl after luring her with toffee-chocolate and sexually assaulted her. After this Umar started repeatedly raping the girl by showing her a knife. Out of fear, the little girl did not tell this to anyone in her house.
As per reports, the victim became pregnant within a few days due to the continuous rape. After which Umar took her to a nearby hospital and got her aborted. After the abortion, the victim started having severe pain in her stomach and also shed a lot of blood. The family members of the girl got suspicious on this, so they took the girl in confidence and asked the whole thing. Eventually, the girl, crying, told the whole story to the family members. Hearing this, the girl's parents shocked, because the one whom they believed as a neighbor, was tearing the body of their innocent girl for the last 6 months. The girl's family lodged a police complaint against Umar Qureshi.
After which the police arrested Umar Qureshi while taking action under other sections including the POSCO Act. On the other hand, taking cognizance of the matter, Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has issued orders to seal the hospital which conducted the abortion of the girl child. On this order, the CMO has given information about registering an FIR while sealing the hospital.
