There are new features and dual-tone color schemes for the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

New Delhi:  As part of the MY-2023 updates, Maruti Suzuki has updated its well-liked sedan model, the Ciaz, with three dual-tone color schemes and new safety features.

The hill-hold control and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are now standard on the dual-tone variants, which have an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 11.14 lakh. The vehicle's mechanical layout and design remain unchanged.

In an Indian market where SUVs predominate, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has been able to build a devoted following since its launch in 2014. By the end of 2022, the automaker had sold over three lakh units of the four-wheeler, controlling about 30% of the market for premium sedans. To increase sales, the company has now updated the vehicle.

The sedan has flared wheel arches, ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and 16-inch designer alloy wheels on the sides. The rear is adorned with LED taillights that wrap around.

The 1.5-liter K-series inline-four petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz produces a maximum of 102 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 revolutions per minute. The motor is connected to either a 4-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox.
