New Delhi: Iconic The popular middleweight streetfighter model, the 390 Duke, from Austrian manufacturer KTM will be unveiled in 2023 for international markets. Recently, test models of the capable motorcycle were spotted, albeit dressed in disguise.

The upcoming bike's design will undergo a significant overhaul, according to the bikemaker. We anticipate changes to the engine as well.

With the release of the 390 Duke model in 2013, KTM paved the way for high-performance streetfighter motorcycles at a reasonable price. The sub-400cc category, which serves as a stepping stone for riders upgrading from a 125cc or 250cc motorcycle, was essentially created by the bikemaker.

However, the company has chosen to update its well-liked middleweight offering as the competition has intensified recently.

The KTM 390 Duke will adopt the design aesthetic of its sibling, the 1290 Super Duke R, in 2023. It will display a powerful fuel tank with extensions, an angular LED headlamp with split-style DRLs, a wide handlebar, an elevated seat, a side-mounted exhaust, and a slim LED taillamp. The vehicle will have a TFT instrument panel and lightweight alloy wheels.

A modernized 373cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with a twin-fan radiator setup will likely be available for the new KTM 390 Duke to provide better heat management. 43 horsepower should be produced by the mill. A 6-speed gearbox will be in charge of transmission duties.

The 2023 KTM 390 Duke will have disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, as well as cornering ABS and traction control from Bosch for better ride and handling characteristics, all for the rider's safety. WP-sourced 43mm inverted forks on the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock unit on the back will handle the suspension duties.

The upcoming KTM 390 Duke's pricing and availability information will be made public by the bikemaker at a launch event sometime in the middle of 2023. In comparison to the current model, which costs Rs. 2.96 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, we anticipate the streetfighter to be more expensive.
