There are counting people who dedicate their lives to environmental protection. One of them is Sunderlal Bahuguna, the protector of the Himalayas. His biggest achievement is also the Chipko movement. Bahuguna, a firm follower of Gandhi, set the only goal of his life and was to protect the environment. He was born on January 9, 1927.
