Thieves stole 11.5 lakhs from ATM

A crime case was registered in Nalagonda on Sunday where unidentified persons opened the cash chest of SBI's ATM machine near Anneparti district and stolen Rs 11.5 lakh cash from it. The INCIDENT was not recorded by the ATM Center CCTV camera.

Let us briefly share your information, thieves used a gas cutter to open the cash chest of an ATM less than 100 metres from the entrance to the 12th Battalion of armed reserve police and are near the Narketpalli-Adhanki State Highway. The police suspect that the incident occurred after midnight. Thieves have committed the ftaby cutting the CCTV camera wires set up at the ATM center. The incident created a sensation and exposed security flaws. It is noteworthy that locals noticed that the ATM machine was kept open and alerted the Nalgonda rural police, who reached the spot and conducted an investigation. The Clumsy team also collected evidence from the ATM center. The police are examining the footage of another CCTV camera set up in the area and are trying to identify the people involved in the incident, sources said.
