This Indian Minister to embark Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia from Friday

NEW DELHI: Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of Meenakshi Lekhi,  will be embarking  Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador and Bolivia from 13-20 January 2023.   This will be her prime visit to these Europeon countries, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

Lekhi will hold meetings with ministers and several dignitaries of the countries and will also interact with the business community at Antigua City.  She will also address the Indian Diaspora and will also parktake in Yoga events and Indian Film Festivals during her visit. 

While visiting Cuba from 13-14 January 2023, she will meet the Speaker of the National Assembly and Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Culture. She is also expected to call on the President of Cuba. 

She will further embark Guatemala from 15-17 January 2023. she will meet the President and the Vice President; and also, hold comprehensive discussions with the Foreign Affairs minister, Economy, Public Health & Social Assistance and so on,  and will also have interaction with the business community at Antigua City. 

She will then embark San Salvador on January 17, where she will call on the President of El Salvador and have meetings with Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Culture, and Economy. Her visit here will conclude on January 19. 

Lekhi's trip to Bolivia will be the first from India since President H.E. Mr. Luis Arce Catacora's government took office there. She will meet with the President and the ministers of foreign affairs and hydrocarbons & energies.

She will connect with the Indian diaspora throughout her stay, speak with them, and take part in yoga sessions and Indian film festivals in each of these nations.
