Dehradun: The doubling of railway track is being carried out in Barabanki Ayodhya Cantt Akbarpur Jabalpur railway section between Khetasarai Meharwa and Mahagaon stations in Lucknow division. In view of this, the Tatanagar Express from Amritsar to Tatanagar has been cancelled till July 1. The doubling of railway line in Lucknow division will begin from today, 24th June.  

The Tatanagar Express from Amritsar to Tatanagar has been cancelled by the Railways on June 24, 29 and July 1. The Tatanagar Express from Tatanagar to Amritsar will remain cancelled on June 23, 27 and 29. In addition, the route of Doon Express from Yoganagari Rishikesh to Howrah has been changed from Friday, June 24 to July 3. Many trains will not go through Akbarpur, Faizabad, Shahganj due to doubling of railway line.  

In addition, the Sealdah Express from Kolkata to Jammu Tawi was cancelled on Thursday. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Coaching Sudhir Kumar said that the work of doubling of railway line in Lucknow division is to be done from June 24 to July 3. Due to this, some trains have been cancelled and some of the routes have been changed.
