KOCHI:  Go First, formerly known as GoAir, is all set to launch tri-weekly flights from Kochi to Abu Dhabi on June 28, according to airline officials. Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, the flights will take off and land.

The first flight will leave Cochin International Airport at 20:05 and land at Abu Dhabi International Airport at 22:40 (local time).  On the way back, Aflight G8 064 will leave Abu Dhabi at 23:40 and land in Kochi at 05:10 (local time).

This airline anticipates that by doing this, their global reach into the Middle East will grow.

The airline's chief executive officer, Kaushik Khona, claimed that by doing this, connectivity to the Middle East will be improved.
