New Delhi: In the midst of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the exercise of returning the Indians trapped there is also going on. It is noteworthy that so far 2056 passengers have been brought back to the homeland of Indians trapped in the war through Indian Air Force planes. For this, 10 aircraft of the Indian Air Force have flown. While 26 tonnes of relief material has been sent to Ukraine under Operation Ganga so far. Earlier on Saturday, Minister of State for External Affairs Muraleedharan had tweeted that 11 thousand Indians have been evacuated from Ukraine so far. According to the agency, he further said in the tweet that 170 Indians returned safely to New Delhi by Air Asia plane.
