This list is released every year, which includes people from different areas. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been included in the list of world's most effective leaders. In the list of 100 influential people around the world, Time has included the names of about 2 dozen leaders this year who have been influential in some way or the other. In this list, PM Narendra Modi is the only Indian leader present in this list. In the magazine article, Time has written about PM Narendra Modi, "They've won elections, guided movements, achieved reform and changed the world for better—and sometimes for worse. These are the Leaders of 2020." The magazine wrote, "The Bharatiya Janata Party came to power with the promise of employment, but after which many controversies were seen. It has been revealed that TIME magazine has also included big leaders like US President Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Angela Merkel, Nancy Pelosi in the list of its most influential leaders.
