In Mumbai, it has been raining strongly since late Tuesday night. This has also led to heavy waterlogging on Mumbai roads. From roads to railway tracks, all have been submerged and that is why local train and bus services have now been disrupted. There is waterlogging on the roads in Mumbai and in the meantime, the trains are stranded. Due to torrential rains, the roads in many of the areas have been turned into a pond. In many areas including Lokhandwala, Andheri, Parel, people are facing hardships by waterlogging on roads.

Trains have been trapped in rainwater in many places. Heavy rain is also affecting the local people. The movement of trains on the central and harbour lines has been stopped due to rain. Due to rain and waterlogging, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also declared a one day holiday in all private and government offices today. Further, it has been said that all offices except emergency service will remain closed. In view of heavy rains in Mumbai, people have been instructed not to get out of their homes. The BMC said, "If it is not necessary, do not get out of the house."

Mumbai Police has issued advisories. In a tweet, people are informed about the water-logged routes and not to move through the routes where the situation is more serious. However, the rain in Mumbai is still continuing.
