Torrential Rain and Hailstorms Hit UAE, Disrupting Daily Life Ahead of PM Modi's Visit

Dubai is facing a deluge and Abu Dhabi is grappling with a hailstorm as heavy rain lashes the UAE just before PM Modi's visit. The typically dry climate of Dubai has been disrupted by uncharacteristically heavy rainfall and hailstorms, causing chaos in the bustling city.

Government workers in Dubai have been instructed to work remotely until Tuesday, February 13th, due to the severe weather conditions. Additionally, all government schools in the UAE will continue with distance learning on the same day.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued red and amber alerts, cautioning residents about the ongoing wet weather.

Abu Dhabi has also experienced hail in various areas, adding to the unexpected weather pattern across the UAE.

Reports indicate heavy rainfall in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Some regions in Al Khaimah and Fujairah have witnessed the formation of streams due to the downpour, as reported by Gulf News on Monday.
