Prime Minister Narendra Modi, currently in the UAE, is scheduled to speak at the 'Ahlan Modi' event at Zayed Sports City Stadium on Tuesday. Despite challenging weather conditions, more than 2,500 people are expected to participate in full ground rehearsals and volunteer briefings.

Here are the key points you need to know:

The 'Ahlan Modi' event has garnered immense enthusiasm from the Indian diaspora, leading organizers to close registrations last week with over 65,000 attendees.

In accordance with UAE regulations, the number of participants on February 13th will be capped based on the stadium's seating capacity.

Singh, one of the organizers, stated, "In compliance with UAE authorities, attendance on the 13th at Ahlan Modi will be limited by the seating capacity of Zayed Sports City Stadium and realistic traffic and parking management, as attendees are coming from all seven Emirates."

The Indian expatriate community, numbering around 3.5 million, is the largest ethnic group in the UAE, constituting approximately 35% of the country's population.

The event will highlight India's cultural diversity with an exhibition featuring over 700 artists. Additionally, more than 150 Indian community groups will participate, showcasing regional diversity and including thousands of blue-collar workers from across the Emirates.

The 'Nari Shakti' (women power) of the Indian community has demonstrated significant support and enthusiasm, with many registering and actively promoting the event. Their participation embodies the principles of women's empowerment, communal harmony, and inclusivity, according to the organizing committee.

PM Modi's visit marks his seventh trip to the UAE since 2015 and the third in the past eight months.

During the visit, PM Modi will hold bilateral meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss ways to enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
