NEW DELHI: Several train services are undergoing temporary cancellations or diversions due to a traffic block, read a Northern Railways official release on Thursday morning. The cause for this disruption is the installation of a protection plate along the Lucknow-Alamnagar section. The public is informed that several train schedules will be affected due to the ongoing traffic and power block associated with the protection plate launch. The affected services include the cancellation of Balamau - Lucknow Special, Lucknow-Sahajahanpur Special, and Sahajahanpur-Lucknow Special trains. Additionally, the Ganga Sutlej Express, Amritsar - Howrah Mail, Archana Express, Bathinda - Varanasi Special, and Jaynagar - Anand Vihar Terminal Special will be diverted from their usual routes. Furthermore, the Lucknow Junction - Meerut City Rajya Rani Express will experience a rescheduling delay of 60 minutes. According to the official, the Kolkata-Jammu Tawi Express will encounter a 180-minute delay while passing through the Lucknow division. Additionally, the Meerut City-Lucknow Jn Rajya Rani Express will face a 45-minute delay on the Moradabad division route. Similarly, the Lohit Express will experience a 30-minute delay on the Moradabad division route, while the Tatanagar - Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express will encounter a 20-minute delay on the Lucknow division route.
