One more death from corona in Tripura, number of cases reach 2282

Agartala: A 38-year-old man has died in Tripura due to global epidemic coronavirus. After which the number of people who died of this disease has increased to three in the state. After registering 98 new cases, the total number of infected people is 2,282. The state's Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (IDSP) officer Deep Debbarma has told the press that the man was admitted to Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) Hospital on Wednesday due to symptoms of coronavirus infection and stomach ailment.

The patient died the same night. The person was a resident of Vidyabil village in Khowai district. Earlier, two patients died in the same hospital. CM Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted from his official tweeter handle that '3,412 samples were taken to test the coronavirus, out of which 98 were found positive'.

Giving information, the official said that after registering new cases, the number of people infected with Coronavirus in Tripura increased to 2,282. Treatment of 661 patients is underway in the state and 1,604 patients have been recovered. At the same time 14 patients have gone to other states.
