Try Sabudana Thalipith in days of fasting

Sabudana Thalipith is a Maharashtrian dish. It can be eaten in fast. Or apart from this, it can also be prepared for breakfast.

Ingredients Required:

Sabudana - ½ cup (soaked in water) Rajgira Dough - ½ cup Potatoes - 2 (boiled) Peanut - 1table spoon Ghee - 2 tablespoons Ginger - 1 teaspoon (grating) Green Chilli - 2 (Finely Chopped) Green coriander - (finely chopped) Cumin - ½ teaspoon Black pepper powder fresh crushed - ¼ teaspoon Rock salt - ¾ teaspoon

Method: Peel the potatoes and grate it. Add sago, flour, salt, black pepper, cumin, green coriander, green chilies, peanuts, and ginger in it and mix it well and make a dough. Heat the tawa.

Make a little lemon size ball from the dough and make a round then flatten it with the hands, then it is now placed in between the plastic sheet and flattens it. Roll it in 3-4 inch diameter.

Put a little ghee on the hot pan and place the made sago Thalipith in the hot oil on the pan. When the color of the thalipith gets golden from the bottom, turn it over and cook it well.

Serve the Sabudana Thalipith with curd or green coriander sauce.
