Lucknow: Two al-Qaeda terrorists arrested, pressure cooker bomb found

Lucknow: A major search operation of ATS is underway in the Kakori police station area of the capital Lucknow. According to recent information, two al-Qaeda terrorists have been arrested in the operation. They are also said to have found a pressure cooker bomb. As soon as the terrorist was reported to be a terrorist, the area has been rocked. Meanwhile, nearby houses have also been evacuated and now the entire area has been converted into cantonments.

 

 

According to information received in the case, the ATS had received information that terrorists were sleeping in a house near the Dubagga intersection in the Kakori area. The ATS and police rushed to the spot on receiving information. Shortly thereafter, the entire area was cordoned off by the police. The ATS then launched the operation.

Meanwhile, the team arrested two al-Qaeda militants. The pressure cooker bomb was reportedly recovered from them. The search operation at the ATS is still going on. According to sources, the number of people inside the house is yet to be ascertained.
