Two Indian-origin industrialists living in the US have donated Rs 14 crore to the famous Lord Venkateshwara Temple near Tirumala. According to the official, the donor made the donation on condition of anonymity. Businessmen have made these donations at the Goddess Sri Varlakshmi Vratam festival. The official said that he first performed puja with his family at the temple and later gave a demand draft of Rs 14 crore to the special officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), the administrator of the 2,000-year-old temple. Both the devotees have donated such a huge amount to the temple for the second year in a row.
