Hyderabad: Carjackers allegedly shot a man from Hyderabad who had been living in the United States of America (USA). The man was returning home on Saturday and was in 11300 block of S Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois when he was shot at. The man was identified as Mohammed Mujeebuddin. Mohammed was allegedly approached by two carjackers when he was going back to his home. According to his family, Mujeebuddin had stopped his car when two-person approached him and asked him to get out. He was reportedly pulled out and shot at from behind. The culprits sped away in his car after shooting him. Mohammed went to the USA five years ago and had not returned to India since. The case was also brought to the notice of external affairs minister S Jaishankar, the Indian Embassy in New York and Consulate General of India in Chicago. Mohammed's mother said that his son Shanaz Taiyaba has been working in Chicago for the last five years now. He was recently shot by two persons. He was soon admitted into a hospital for treatment in Chicago. Mohammed's mother requested the Indian Government to provide him with best medical aid.
