2 coaches of train number 4674 Shaheed Express from Amritsar to Jayanagar have been derailed in Lucknow, though no passenger has been damaged or injured in the incident. As soon as the compartment derailed, the passengers were shouting and crying and the officers of the Railway had taken up the situation with immediate effect. According to information received, senior divisional commercial manager Jagtosh Shukla reported the incident and said that at about 8 a.m. on Monday morning, the Shaheed Express went ahead of Charbagh platform and two coaches were derailed at the same moment. However, there was no loss of any kind to any passenger in the accident. There was a lot of uproar on the spot, after which the officers have shown a lot of haste. He said that the passengers of these two coaches will be sent to other compartments and the train will be flagged off soon. According to railway sources, the passengers were screaming at the derailment of both the coaches of the train but the senior railway officials immediately took up the situation. Since the incident occurred at Charbagh railway station, the matter was immediately handled.
