Jammu: Two drones spotted at Kaluchak military camp; Army stations on high alert

Srinagar: Two drones have now been spotted at Kaluchak military station in Jammu, two days after the drone attack on Jammu Air Force Station. The Army opened fire to topple them, but they disappeared in the dark. The military has launched a massive search operation across the area. According to media reports, the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) appeared at the military base at 11.30pm and 3am on Sunday. The army is on alert after that.

Two blasts were carried out with drones at Jammu Air Force Station on Saturday and Sunday nights 2 days ago. The roof of the Air Force Station was damaged and 2 jawans were also injured in the attack. Two IED were dropped inside the airbase through drones. The damage did not go much. This was the first attack of its kind. Both the blasts took place between 1.30 pm and 2 pm on Saturday. The blast took place near indian aircraft. The place is 14 kilometres from the international border.

Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh termed the attack as a terror attack. Shortly after the attack, a Lashkar terrorist was arrested with 6 kg of explosives.
