Two more accused arrested in Red Fort violence, including a foreign national

New Delhi: Delhi Police's Crime Branch has arrested two more miscreants in the Red Fort violence case during the Farmers' Tractor Rally on Republic Day. Of these, Mahendrajeet Singh is a foreign national who was trying to escape from the country on the basis of fake documents. The crime branch team arrested him at IGI Airport. The second person is Khem Preet Singh. It is alleged that he had attacked the policemen with force. Maninderjit Singh is a Dutch national and lives in London.

Last month, Delhi Police released pictures of the miscreants, who were involved in the violence at the Red Fort during the tractor parade of farmers on Republic Day. In this case, the police have arrested around 150 people so far. At the same time, 44 FIRs have been filed. In fact, during the tractor parade of farmers in Delhi, there was violence at many places on 26 January. Many people entered the Red Fort complex and had also placed a religious flag there. Farmers' organizations distanced themselves from it. However, the police say that farmer organization is also involved in this.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Delhi Police is investigating about five thousand videos that the police have received after CCTV cameras, viral videos, media cameras, Delhi Police cameras, and appeals to the public. It is only after their investigation that the police identified the miscreants.
