Srinagar: Two terrorists killed in the encounter on Tuesday morning in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces had received information about 2-3 terrorists hiding in Gundarbal's goon area. After which the joint team of police, CRPF and army surrounded the whole area and the terrorists opened fire on the security forces. There have been reports of two militants killed in the firing from both sides. However, the bodies of the slain terrorists have not been found yet. But it is being told that these terrorists belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the information received, in a residential area in Lavdara area of the district, on Sunday afternoon, security forces were reported to be hiding the terrorists, on the basis of which a joint operation was conducted by the Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Giving information, an officer said that during the search operation, the terrorists opened fire on the soldiers, whose soldiers also gave a befitting reply and a fierce encounter started. During this horrific encounter that lasted for about 22 hours, 2 terrorists were killed by the security forces. The official said that one of the slain terrorists has been identified as Abu Talha of Pakistani origin who was the district commander of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, while the other is said to be a Kashmiri terrorist. For the security forces, the killing of terrorists is considered a big success.
