New Delhi: All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) will meet on 17 November. Advocate Zafaryab Jilani has said that in this meeting the Muslim side will decide whether they have to file a review petition on the Supreme Court's decision on Ayodhya. However, soon after the verdict came, Zafaryab Jilani said that we will not file a review petition. Later he had said that we will take a decision at the meeting. At the same time, another Muslim party Iqbal Ansari has also refused to file a review petition.

The apex court ruled on the Ayodhya case on Saturday. In the judgment, the Supreme Court directed the Center to arrange for the Sunni Waqf Board to provide 5 acres of land for the construction of the mosque in Ayodhya. On this decision of the court, Asaduddin Owaisi expressed his displeasure that the Muslim society was fighting for its legal right and did not need any bailout.

Owaisi said in a statement after the verdict that, 'We are fighting for our legal rights. I think we should decline the offer of 5 acres of land. We do not need any patronage. However, most people have welcomed the court's decision, as well as appealed to both communities to maintain peace.
