A shocking case has come to light at a government hospital in Kalburgi, Karnataka amid the corona crisis. A case of attempt to rape has been registered with the patient undergoing treatment in corona ward in the hospital. The driver of a private ambulance has been taken into custody in connection with the alleged attempt to rape a corona patient. Police said the criminal had entered the cardiology department of gulberg institute of medical science on Tuesday night. He tried to rape a 25-year-old corona patient sleeping there. The sudden shouting of the victim created a ruckus in the department. The department staff and patients tried to nab the culprit but he dodged them and fled. The culprit was arrested when the police received the case. A case of attempt to rape has been registered against him. The culprit is being questioned. On the other hand, a case of alleged gang rape of a 45-year-old woman corona patient admitted to a hospital in Bihar's capital Patna is recently reported. There was an uproar in the hospital administration after the woman's daughter alleged that she was in a state of shock. Only three to five hospital employees were accused of raping the woman. The victim's daughter made a video of the mother's statement and shared it.
