The recent heartbeat incident came to light from Hyderabad. The body of two men was sunk in the tank. Two people, including the man who drowned in the Jalpalli tank in Pahadisaf, were reported to share the incident. While briefing on the incident, police said Mohad Sohail (30), a resident of Edi Bazar, along with his cousin Kalim, had come to jalpalli tank on Saturday evening. "Sohail stepped up to a stone near the tank and fell into the water. He did not know swimming and drowned," says SHO Pahadisharif S Vishnu Vardhan Reddy. The Pahadisariff police reached the spot and took relief measures. Operation was stopped as darkness was falling. On Sunday morning, Sohail's relatives called a man identified as Aslam of Bandlaguda in Chandrayangutta and sought his help in retrieving Sohail's body from the tank. However, Altaf dived four times in the water and did not work out the body from under water. He was drowned in the fifth attempt," Pahadisariff police said. But within minutes of the sinking in the Altaf tank, Sohail's body was found. The Pahadisariff police immediately reached the spot and recovered Altaf's body with the help of the GHMC Disaster Response Force and fire department personnel. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary where the body was saved for a post-mortem test.
